Bulldozers also called pushers are crawler tractors in the category of earthmoving equipment. They have a strong resemblance to crawler loaders but bulldozers do not load but act as a pusher, they have a more imposing chain train which allows better grip on the ground and thus better performance. The blades can vary according to the materials, namely there are different versions with angledozer blades, tilt blades, folding blades, rotary blades,.. Continue reading
The bulldozers have a strong and sturdy chassis low to the ground with a cab on top and the engine in front of the cab. At the front of the machine, a streamlined blade is steered by two hydraulic arms which allows it to raise or lower. At the rear you can adapt a single tine or three tine ripper which will be used to open the ground after the passage.
The blade in the low position allows scraping with a depth of 20 to 30 cm allowing horizontal earthmoving. In the intermediate position, the earthwork can be adjusted in selected layers. There are also angledozers that angle the blade in the direction of the machine. At the rear, it is possible to mount a ripper allowing ripping with a variable number of coulters. This makes it possible to level the ground, strip topsoil, level the land, clear trees, push scrapers or even pull plows.
